Watson Groce

Watson Groce, age 86 of Burkesville, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Cumberland Valley Manor. Watson was born on September 19, 1939 in Cumberland County, KY to the late Brad Groce and Mary Watson Groce.  He attended Waterview Church of Christ and was a longtime Barber. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Earl Groce and Willie Guy Groce and one sister Maddlelee Groce.  

Survivors Include:
One Son- Brad Groce of Albany, KY
One Daughter- Donna Smith of Michigan
Two Grandchildren- Byron Watson Groce and Adam Peyton Smith
Special Friends- Kathy Groce and Allen Duvall
along with a host of other relatives and friends

Funeral Service:
Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 2:00 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N. Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Liberty Cemetery.  Family requests visitation on Monday, February 9th from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. and on Tuesday from 6 A.M. until time for the service at 2 P.M. at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.
